Almost all of them came, about thirty (because teachers from here predominate on the Island). We talked about Piarists, about Calasanz… and above all we gave them the opportunity to reflect in groups, shared and then discussed, about how they see education here and what could improve it, coming up with some simple proposals. The children offered them a song by Calasanz in Tetun, composed by our brother Abilio.

On Thursday we had the Calasanz mass at 4 in the afternoon with all solemnity, followed by a shared snack-dinner for all who came: boys, girls, youth and adults.

We appreciate the great collaboration of the Christian community to prepare so many things: ornamentation, snacks and meals, liturgy, songs and dances… It is a pleasure to celebrate like this and create a community around Calasanz.

This year we could finally celebrate Calasanz in August, without a pandemic or adverse situations.
